Arsenal 4 - 1 Fulham

Arsenal responded to its weekend humiliation by turning the lopsided score line on Fulham with a 4-1 win at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday.

Granit Xhaka, Alexandre Lacazette, Aaron Ramsey and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all scored for the Gunners, who move two points back of fourth-place Chelsea.

Aboubakar Kamara scored for Fulham, who remain 19th with 14 points.

Aubameyang has scored his 14th goal of the season to top the Golden Boot standings.

Cardiff City 0 - 3 Tottenham Hotspur

Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son each had a goal and an assist as Tottenham Hotspur opened 2019 with a 3-0 win over Cardiff City at Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday.

Christian Eriksen also scored for Spurs, who moved back into second place ahead of Liverpool and Man City’s Thursday match.

Tottenham is a point ahead of City and six behind the Reds.

Cardiff’s 18 points have them 16th, behind Newcastle on goal differential and three points clear of the Bottom Three.

Everton 0 - 1 Leicester City

Jamie Vardy‘s second half goal was all Leicester City needed to move past Everton and into seventh place with a 1-0 win at Goodison Park.

Marco Silva‘s seat will be feeling hotter with Everton a possibility to finish the match day in the bottom half of the table.

The Toffees have 27 points.  Leicester has 31 points, four back of sixth place Manchester United.
