Chelsea's Hazard Set To Complete €100M Real Madrid Switch

Chelsea wing-wizard Eden Hazard is reportedly on the verge of completing a sensational €100 million (N40 billion) transfer to Real Madrid.
As per a report from French publication L’Equipe, Chelsea and Real Madrid have arrived at an agreement over the transfer of superstar Eden Hazard in the summer window.

The Spanish heavyweights will have to shell out a transfer fee of €100 million (N40 billion) in order to get their hands on the 28-year-old attacker.

Hazard is one of the most coveted attacking players in Europe and has been on the radars of Real Madrid for a long time now. The Merengues were keen on signing him up last summer itself after his successful World Cup campaign with Belgium, with Hazard himself being interested in a move. However, nothing materialized at that point.

Real Madrid have continued to keep an eye on the 28-year-old superstar and speculations over a summer move intensified heavily ever since Zinedine Zidane took over the reins at the club for a second time back in March. And it seems that the transfer is on the verge of completion if the latest report from L’Equipe is something to go by.

The report states that Chelsea have agreed to sell their superstar attacker to Real Madrid for a transfer fee of €100 million (N40 billion), with the move set to be announced soon after the Blues’ UEFA Europa League final against Arsenal towards the end of the month.
