Seven Liverpool Players Who May Not Get Winners' Medal If Reds Lift EPL Title

Liverpool go into their final day clash with Wolves desperate for a favour from Brighton .
The Seagulls host leaders Manchester City and Pep Guardiola's men know a win will see them retain the title.

The Premier League are preparing for all eventualities with two Premier League trophies primed for Anfield and the Amex.

There are also two sets of winners' medals for whoever finishes the weekend on top of the Premier League.

But not everybody will get their hands on a medal after Sunday's matches have come to a close.

Last year, the Premier League handed out 40 medals to Manchester City's players after they were crowned champions.

The silver medals were given to Pep Guardiola and his staff, as well as every player who made at least five Premier League appearances.

The likes of Claudio Bravo and Eliaquim Mangala are likely to miss out if City retain their title - but which Liverpool players face disappointment?

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has made an impressive recovery from injury but has just one substitute appearance to his name in the Premier League.

Simon Mignolet hasn't featured at all with Alisson shining in goal while Alberto Moreno has made four appearances, meaning he will get a medal if he plays against Wolves .

Rafael Camacho has made one substitute outing but that won't be enough, while fellow youngsters Curtis Jones, Ki-Jana Hoever and Rhian Brewster will all miss out.

Liverpool could decide to give winners' medals to any of the above players, providing the 19 stars who have played in at least five games get one.

Additional medals are unlikely to be granted by the Premier League Board as less than 39 players have made five or more appearances.
